Yes, you can set up a new Facebook account through Convergence with the following steps.

Select Social on the left navigation panel, which will display the Social Tab on the right panel.
Click the f Facebook icon on the left navigation panel.
Click Login to Facebook on the right panel. A small window titled Facebook login appears.
Click Sign up for Facebook.
Enter your first name, last name, email address, a password, your gender, and your birthday. Click Sign Up.
